Ensure that embroidery on towels and robes holds secure and is soft to the skin by using Sew Stable Medium-Weight Firm Tearaway. This 1.5-ounce stabilizer, T103, tears away cleanly, which speeds up production and offers the same nonstretching, stable foundation as all HTCW stabilizers do.

The heavyweight tearaway, T104, which is 1.8 ounces, is the ideal choice when you need a little more support due to a heavier stitch count. Both tearaways also are ideal for any weight of woven fabric such as denims, canvas, nylon, and cotton twills.

Because HTCW stabilizers are made using a wet-laid nondirectional process, it will not stretch, so it provides a secure base for all designs, even those with high stitch counts. It tears away cleanly and easily and will not pull or distort the stitches as you remove the excess backing. It comes in 9-inch, 12-inch, and 15-inch widths on rolls of 10 and 25 yards.
